Volleyball Recap: Clay County Comes Up Short

Clay County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Poca Dots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-16.

Clay County's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Poca, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-3-5.

Clay County has already played their next matchup (against Capital), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Poca, they will square off against Hurricane at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
