Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Christian Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant Christian lost against Tabernacle back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions lost to the Torches on the road by a 56-41 margin. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tabernacle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seth Batson led the charge by putting up 15 points. Tucker Andrews was another key player, earning 14 points.

Mt. Pleasant Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tabernacle, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Mt. Pleasant Christian and Tabernacle will both be playing Hope Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Torches will head out to face Hope Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
