Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nuview Bridge). They skirted past the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Joshy Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Carson Lagor also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Nuview Bridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive matches.

Nuview Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for San Jacinto Leadership Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Nuview Bridge and San Jacinto Leadership Academy will both be playing Temecula Prep the next time they take the field. Nuview Bridge will head out to face Temecula Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while San Jacinto Leadership Academy will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
