Basketball Game Preview: Barrington Eagles vs. St. Raphael Academy Saints

The Barrington Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the St. Raphael Academy Saints at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Barrington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season.

On Monday, Barrington needed a bit of extra time to put away East Providence. They walked away with a 53-44 win over the Townies.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Barrington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Rigamonti, who posted 20 points. Caleb Satisfield was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Meanwhile, St. Raphael Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 55-47 to Mt. Pleasant.

Barrington pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Raphael Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Barrington beat St. Raphael Academy 72-59 when the teams last played back in December of 2021. Will Barrington repeat their success, or does St. Raphael Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
