Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Miami Beach

The Edison Red Raiders will face off against the Miami Beach Hi-Tides at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Edison is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Homestead on Friday. Neither Edison nor Homestead could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Miami Beach kept a clean sheet against Dr. Krop on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lightning. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Hi-Tides were the better team in the second half.

Olivia Hege was the driving force of Miami Beach's attack as she scored both of Miami Beach's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Miami Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. Edison's draw gives them a new season record of 5-2-1.
