Preview: Cary Christian Knights vs. Trinity Academy Tigers        
        
		
            
 Cary Christian and Trinity Academy are an even 5-5 against one another  since January of 2016, but  not for long. The Cary Christian Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trinity Academy Tigers at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Cary Christian can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Tuesday. They blew past St. David's 74-50. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  40-19.
  Andrew Neal was  his usual excellent self,  going 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 7 assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which  he has scored at least a third of Cary Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gideon Landry, who  scored 17 points.
 Meanwhile, Trinity Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Tuesday as they fell  60-55 to Wake Christian Academy.
 Cary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Trinity Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
 Things could have been worse for Cary Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a  70-52 loss to Trinity Academy when the teams last played  on Friday.
