Basketball Game Preview: Ansley/Litchfield Spartans vs. Stuart Broncos

The Ansley/Litchfield Spartans and the Stuart Broncos will face off at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Ansley/Litchfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Ansley/Litchfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Central Valley 51-35 on Friday.

Ansley/Litchfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kerry M Ryan out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. M Ryan is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Caydence Feldman, who posted 15 points and four steals.

Ansley/Litchfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stuart, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past Burwell 41-38. While the Broncos didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Stuart's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Ansley/Litchfield, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
