The third road game was the charm for Cedar Bluff, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Sand Rock Wildcats on Friday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Cedar Bluff is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Sand Rock is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Cedar Bluff has already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Spring Garden on the 8th. As for Sand Rock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-1 victory against Gaylesville on the 7th.
