Basketball Recap: Elevation Prep Academy Skates Past Gray Stone Day with Ease + How To Watch

Elevation Prep Academy's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They breezed past the Gray Stone Day Knights to the tune of 80-40. Given the Honey Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Knights are ranked 572nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elevation Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kassim Cauley, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Cauley now owns an excellent 47.2% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of STEPHEN SHAKO, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Elevation Prep Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gray Stone Day only posted seven.

When it comes to explaining why Gray Stone Day lost, don't look at Colt Greer. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. Greer has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last four times he's played.

Elevation Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Gray Stone Day, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
