Softball Recap: Medina Triumphs

The Medina Bees narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Copley Indians 6-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bees.

The team relied heavily on Ryann Allar, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 contests. Another player making a difference was Olivia Hendrickson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Medina was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Medina's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Copley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
