Riverside won the last time they faced J.Z. George and things went their way on Friday too. Riverside blew past J.Z. George 19-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Allie Reed made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Reed was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Paislee Misskelley was a standout: she scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ann Brilye Hankins, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .593 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Riverside's record now sits at 11-4-1. As for J.Z. George, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Riverside beat J.Z. George by a score of 13-1 on Monday.
