Hamilton has gone  a perfect 4-0 against Casteel recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Huskies will head out on the road to  take on  the Colts  at 3:45  p.m. Hamilton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so Casteel's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Hamilton's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's  struggle, when Desert Vista hitters got past them. The Huskies took  a  10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder on Wednesday. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Hamilton got a  massive  performance out of  Briley Pinks, who  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3.  Madison Sauni was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run and two  runs.
Meanwhile, Casteel was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell  7-2 to Notre Dame Prep.
  Winter Melendez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  double. That  home run was  her first of the season.
 Hamilton's record now sits at 19-8-1. As for Casteel, their record is now 7-17.
 Hamilton took their  victory against Casteel  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024 by a conclusive  11-0 score. Will the Huskies repeat their success,  or do  the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
