Basketball Recap: Ludlowe Piles Up the Points Against Westhill

Ludlowe waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Westhill Vikings to the tune of 69-31. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Ludlowe was led to victory by Kate Cimador and Hayden Mcbean. Cimador posted 30 points, while Mcbean dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Cimador's evening made it 13 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Gervasi, who had five points and five steals.

Ludlowe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.

Ludlowe is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Westhill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Ludlowe will be playing in front of their home fans against McMahon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westhill has already played their next contest (against Notre Dame Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
