Football Recap: Jackson Lynde and Grant Jordan Pace Crofton Defense

Crofton was the 64-22 winner over Bloomfield when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 30-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bees on Friday.

Despite the loss, Crofton still got an impressive performance from Tyson Jackson, who rushed for 198 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Jackson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 157 every time he's taken the field this season.

Crofton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jackson Lynde and Grant Jordan.

Brock Jeannoutot had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 183 yards for Bloomfield.

Crofton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bloomfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Crofton will challenge rival Hartington-Newcastle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bloomfield is set to take on their familiar foe Wausa/Osmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bees 4.5, Wausa/Osmond 12) so any points scored will be well earned.
