Soccer Game Preview: South Stokes vs. Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy

The South Stokes Sauras will square off against the Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Stokes will be strutting in after a victory while Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: South Stokes extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Sauras' defense stepped up to hand South Davidson a 9-0 shutout. Cooper Willard was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's offense. They lost 9-0 to Bishop McGuinness on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 598th, while Bishop McGuinness are ranked 172nd).

Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Stokes, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-2.
