Football Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Comes Up Short

The San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies lost 45-20 to the Valley Oaks Charter Coyotes on Saturday.

Jeremias Buar was a one-man wrecking crew For Valley Oaks Charter. as he rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Mugen Medina was another key player, rushing for 31 yards and one score.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley Oaks Charter, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Luis Obispo Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alpaugh at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Valley Oaks Charter, they will venture away from home to face off against Laton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
