Basketball Recap: Craig County Comes Up Short

Craig County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 36-20 bruising from the Bath County Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-32 two weeks ago.

Craig County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Bath County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Craig County will face off against Parry McCluer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bath County, they will challenge Highland at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
