Soccer Game Preview: Glynn Academy vs. Richmond Hill

The Glynn Academy Terrors will square off against the Richmond Hill Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Glynn Academy is headed into the game having not lost since February 20 and will look to keep things rolling. They came out on top against Hilton Head Prep by a score of 4-2 on Monday. That's two games straight that Glynn Academy have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Richmond Hill waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wildcats who were credited with the win. Richmond Hill got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Savannah Country Day's three.

Richmond Hill pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those eight contests. As for Glynn Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1.

Glynn Academy suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Richmond Hill when the teams last played back in February. Can the Terrors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
