Football Recap: Lewis Central Takes a Loss

Lewis Central blew Glenwood out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Glenwood got their revenge. The Titans fell just short of the Rams by a score of 41-38. The defeat came about despite the Titans having been up 24 in the first quarter.

Lewis Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Glenwood, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Lewis Central and Glenwood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Titans will face off against Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (10 vs. 162). Meanwhile, Glenwood (ranked 42nd) will meet Denison-Schleswig (ranked 183rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
