Timberlake Christian came into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Kenston Forest Kavaliers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tornadoes also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Claire Smith paced Timberlake Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Siam Conway and her 16 assists. Conway was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Timberlake Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Kenston Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Timberlake Christian has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Westover Christian Academy on the 23rd. As for Kenston Forest, they will challenge Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
