Softball Recap: Montpelier Locomotives vs. Patrick Henry Patriots
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Montpelier walked away with it. They never let the Patrick Henry Patriots get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Locomotives have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Madelyn Hopper made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched.
