Baseball Game Preview: West Valley Rams vs. Eastmont Wildcats

For the second straight game, West Valley will face off against Eastmont. The Rams will welcome the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. West Valley is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

West Valley hadn't beaten Eastmont on the road since April 25, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Rams were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Wildcats. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

For Eastmont's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Swedburg, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

West Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Eastmont, they moved to 3-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
