Soccer Recap: Swanton Comes Up Short

Swanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Eastwood Eagles, falling 4-1. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no goals scored by either team from that point forward.

Swanton's goal came courtesy of Evan Reinhard, who's now up to eight this season.

Swanton's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-3. As for Eastwood, they pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Swanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastwood, they have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Otsego on the 21st.
