Soccer Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was the 1-0 winner over Fremont when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Skyline Titans lost 5-2 to the Fremont Tigers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 991st, while the Tigers are ranked 325th).

Skyline is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-2. As for Fremont, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

While Skyline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
