Meanwhile, Draughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to NCSSM: Morganton. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.
The victory got Owen back to even at 1-1-2. As for Draughn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
