Ashford won the last time they faced Dale County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

While Ashford might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Dale County scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 16-25, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Dale County lost, don't look at Leah Grace Snellgrove. Despite the final result, she had seven digs, six kills, six aces, and one block. Snellgrove is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaslyn Smith, who had nine kills and five blocks.

Ashford's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Dale County, they dropped their record down to 10-19 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Ashford will square off against Wicksburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dale County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
