Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edwardsville). They took down the Belleville East Lancers 66-48 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Edwardsville's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2. As for Belleville East, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

When Edwardsville and Belleville East next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Edwardsville will try to stop Normal Community's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Belleville East will take on Althoff Catholic and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
