After a string of four wins, Reagan's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Tomball Cougars. The Rattlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Gemma Hopkins had a dynamite game For Tomball., getting 15 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Hopkins has posted over her last six contests.

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Tomball, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

Coming up, Reagan will face off against Cedar Park at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Tomball, they will challenge Harlan at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
