Old Fort waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the New Riegel Blue Jackets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Old Fort walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 27-25.

Marah Miller paced Old Fort's offense, picking up 18 kills. Miller got some help from Lucy King and her 41 assists. King also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adelyn Dick, racking up two apiece.

Old Fort's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for New Riegel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Old Fort is set to square off against their familiar foe Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Riegel will take on rival Lakota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
