West Point proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the King William Cavaliers 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Pointers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-98) West Point actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 10-25, 20-25, 18-16.

West Point's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for King William, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

West Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against King & Queen Central on the 21st. As for King William, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Rappahannock on the 20th.
