Volleyball Recap: Lowell's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Lowell had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lake Orion Dragons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Lowell not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake Orion between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17.

Harper Schaedig paced Lowell's offense, picking up eight kills. Schaedig got some help from Rylie Barriger and her ten assists. Laney Bieneman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lowell's record now sits at 29-7-2. As for Lake Orion, they dropped their record down to 18-23-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Lowell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Bloomfield Hills on the 25th. As for Lake Orion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Traverse City West on the 25th.
