North Branch has gone 6-1 against Richmond recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Broncos will head out to take on the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m.

North Branch is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 33 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Croswell-Lexington on Friday. They took a blow against the Pioneers, falling 48-7. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Richmond put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 24-17 victory over Armada. The game was the first time the Blue Devils have beaten the Tigers on their field since September 13, 2019.

Richmond didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Landon Lyon and Cole Prior.

North Branch's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Richmond, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

North Branch strolled past Richmond in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a score of 28-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
