Basketball Recap: Covenant Day Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Covenant Day was the 63-49 winner over Davidson Day when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions were beaten by the Patriots 76-42 on Tuesday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Covenant Day lost, don't look at Micah Huffman. Despite the final result, he shot 46% from the field en route to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Montgomery, who posted seven points and five assists.

Covenant Day now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Davidson Day, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Covenant Day is taking a road trip to challenge Forsyth Country Day at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Davidson Day, they will challenge Oak Hill Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
