Baseball Recap: Eight Straight Road Wins for Warren

Warren entered their tilt with Harlan on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hawks 10-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Alex Garza was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrian Lopez, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Guerra, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Warren pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Harlan, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-12.

Warren will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
