Football Game Preview: Claiborne vs. West Greene

West Greene will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Claiborne at West Greene High School at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.

The struggle was real when West Greene and Thomas Walker clashed last Friday, but the former ultimately edged out the latter 28-26. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps rankings were right on the nose.

Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Claiborne as they fell 20-22 to Middlesboro last week.

West Greene's win lifted them to 1-2 while Claiborne's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if West Greene can add another positive mark to their record or if Claiborne can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West Greene's step.
