While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Sycamore was not quite Camden Central's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a hard 35-21 fall against the Lions. The War Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Sycamore still got an impressive performance from Hicks Hunter, who rushed for 107 yards and one score on only ten carries. Hunter's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Jake Reynoldson had a dynamite game For Camden Central., rushing for 37 yards and three TDs, while also throwing for 165 yards and one touchdown.

Sycamore's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Camden Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
