Madera South waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 3rd.

While Madera South might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Roosevelt scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Madera South pushed their record up to 25-17 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madera South will head out to face off against Hoover at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Reedley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
