Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Elkins Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Fort Bend Elkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dobie Longhorns on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Fort Bend Elkins didn't let Dobie take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Nidhi Dronavalli paced Fort Bend Elkins' offense, picking up eight kills. Dronavalli got some help from Hailee Collins and her 11 assists. Collins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
