It was fun while it lasted, but Newark Tech's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Monday. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hudson Catholic Hawks. The loss was the Terries' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Newark Tech fell to 3-1. As for Hudson Catholic, their record is now 4-1.

Newark Tech and West Caldwell Tech will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hudson Catholic, they will challenge Nazareth at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
