Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Kameron Payne: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) as Chaparral fell to San Clemente 35-34. We hope Friday's game is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Coming up, Payne and Chaparral will head out on the road to square off against Rancho Cucamonga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will enter the matchup having just beaten Oak Hills, so the Pumas will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
