Basketball Recap: Liberty Tree Academy Takes a Loss

Liberty Tree Academy lost against Golden View Classical Academy back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles had to suffer through a 43-16 loss at the hands of the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels.

Golden View Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ainsley Chidester, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 10 points and five steals. Mira Lensink was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Liberty Tree Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Golden View Classical Academy, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Liberty Tree Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-33 win against Sheridan on the 11th. As for Golden View Classical Academy, they will head out to square off against Belleview Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
