Volleyball Recap: Lodi Victorious

Lodi posted their closest victory since September 13th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Sun Prairie East Cardinals 2-1. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lodi got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 20-25, 15-4.

Brielle Burros paced Lodi's offense, picking up seven kills. Burros got some help from Ella Best and her nine assists.

Lodi now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Sun Prairie East, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-16.

Lodi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Columbus on the 7th. As for Sun Prairie East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Madison Memorial on the 7th.
