Baseball Recap: Moriah Wins Going Away Against Northern Adirondack

Moriah not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 16-3). They blew past the Northern Adirondack Bobcats 10-3. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Isaac White made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joe Pelkey, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Joey Kazlo was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Moriah's record is now 4-6. As for Northern Adirondack, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Moriah will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
