Football Recap: Louisiana Comes Up Short

Louisiana lost against Van-Far back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Indians, falling 46-20. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Van-Far had a senior duo take command as Ty Evans rushed for 103 yards and three scores on only 12 carries and Gaven Gaston rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown. Pacey Reading was in the mix as well, providing the Indians with one TD.

Louisiana's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Van-Far, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Louisiana is set to challenge their familiar foe Wright City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Van-Far will square off against rival Mark Twain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
