Clark came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Boerne Greyhounds by a score of 2-0. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Greyhounds walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Clark's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Boerne, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clark will head out to square off against Harlan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boerne, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against New Braunfels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Greyhounds their first taste of in-conference action this season.
