Basketball Recap: Springlake-Earth Takes a Loss

Springlake-Earth lost against Silverton back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Springlake-Earth Wolverines fell 35-27 to the Silverton Owls. The defeat leaves the Wolverines without a win on the season.

Springlake-Earth's record is now 0-10. As for Silverton, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Springlake-Earth and Silverton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Springlake-Earth (ranked 1218th) will meet Kress (ranked 430th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Silverton (ranked 1067th) will meet Lazbuddie (ranked 498th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
