Basketball Recap: Appleton North Starts Season with Win Against Winneconne

Appleton North gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the Winneconne Wolves 101-82.

Winneconne lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Parker Ingles, who posted 23 points. Drew Lenz was another key player, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 23 points.

Looking ahead, Appleton North and Bay Port will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Winneconne, they will face off against Omro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
