Basketball Game Preview: Williston Red Devils vs. Wildwood Wildcats

Two dominant guards in De'Andre Harvey and Demarius Knight are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Williston Red Devils will face off against the Wildwood Wildcats on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Williston is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a hard 76-61 fall against The Villages Charter. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Buffalo are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wildwood walked away with it. They blew past the Sharks, posting a 94-29 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Wildwood is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points per game. As for Williston, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
