Sullivan scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to the Edgewood Mustangs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), the Golden Arrows still had to take the loss.

Sullivan lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cooper Bock, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Paul Ridgway, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.

Even though they lost, Sullivan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Kamren Ranard was a one-man wrecking crew for Edgewood as he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points Ranard has posted since back in December of 2023. Caden Jones was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 17 points.

Sullivan moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Edgewood, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Sullivan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-38 defeat against Terre Haute North Vigo on the 26th. As for Edgewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-55 loss against Northview on the 26th.
