Churchill County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lowry Buckaroos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Churchill County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Raegan Johnson paced Churchill County's offense, picking up 17 kills. Johnson got some help from Layla Walker and her 31 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Churchill County's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lowry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Churchill County and Lowry will both be playing Spring Creek the next time they take the court. The Greenwave will head out to face the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Buckaroos will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
